We performed 'ngajat' on cultural show 30th September 2006. Right after we finished the dance, we took the picture.

I really enjoy each time I watched Cultural Show in MC, Thailand once in a year. I've been 2 years studying in Thailand, I had a chance to see more than 20 different cultures that showed. In the picture above is Malaysian students that participated in cultural night on 30th September 2006. We did very well even though we only spent less than 1 week to practice before the show.

When I am bored

Sometime when I bored, I used to 'memerap' in my room. Listening to the music, watching movie, talking with my friends, chatting and reading are my hobbies. As a student, i can't run from feeling bored. When I didn't get enough sleep, for sure I will feel sleepy in class, and soon it's make me bored.

Our life is not always happy and not always sad. There is the time when we feel good and bad. That's why some people say that our life like a 'tyre'. Sometime our position is up, sometime down. Yeah.. our life use to be like that. Our life is just a journey. We don't have destination. We always moving and keep changing each second.

Now, i just started a new semester, 2 weeks already. Wow.. so busy, huh?.. of course. Well, I am taking my major course such as Precalculus, General Chemistry, Life, Health and Nutrition, and some other GE course. This 'stuff' enough to make me like a crazy people. Plus minus with my works, I really don't get enough time to handle with it. Somehow, I will try my best. When we believe, nothing is imposibble. Whatever it is, just try it. Go on.. hehehe... See ya..

Well...
3 months I was holiday and spent my time at my home. Now, just back to Thailand again. Long time I didn't visit my blog and update it. For those that visiting my blog, I am so sorry coz I haven't put any news yet. If I have time, I will try to update something interesting.

Yeii... Gawai is coming... I am really happy. I've been in Thailand almost 2 years without gone back to Sarawak. But this time, instead of busy with my final test, I am counting the day that I will going back. For sure, everybody at home is missing me and as well me too. I miss my family,foods, my friends, ex-classmate, and so on. I can't wait to go back home.

Well, this is the church that we always go there every Saturday. This church was located on the top of the hill. Very nice church, huge and beautiful environment.

Well.. friends are very special to me. I feel that I blessed becoz of presence of friends. Beside that, I am a friendly person. I like to make friends no matter who they are. As this new year, I got new friends too.
Currently, I am studying in one of the international christian college in Thailand called Mission College. In MC, there were not diificult to find a friend.In MC only, I could make friends with different students that come from 30 different countries. Especially in Thailand, Thai's people are very nice. They are full of joys, smiles, jokes and so on. I have been here more than 1 year, I found that I changed a lots. In my character, appearance, value in God, feeling and etc. And all of that positive changes were becoz of friends.

Thai food... I do like Thai food very much..even though it is spicy..but...i really like it
One of my favourite food is 'tom yum pla,.. known as Fish soup . Thai food actually different from another food that I had ever known. Thai food offers a variety of flavours and tastes. The subtle mixing of herbs and spices and market-fresh ingredients makes dining a special culinary experience.

Well.. in THailand, I am living in central area.. So, I can inform to u all some central arThe Thai in the central plain prefer food with smooth and lasting taste with a touch of sweetness. The way the food is served is an art in itself. The dinning table is often decorated with carved vegetable and fruit. Cuisine of the central plain sometimes combines the best of the foods from various regions.

Safari World one of the famous place in Thailand. It is very nice place to rest from busy works. The time I came there, I had chance to see different kind of shows, such as dolphin show, bird show, spy ware show, and so on.

The Grand Palace adjoins Wat Phra Kaew in a common compound, and is where you will end up after exiting Wat Phra Kaew. Despite the proximity of the two, there's a distinct contrast in style between the very Thai Wat Phra Kaew and the more European inspired designs of the Grand Palace (the roof being the exception). The Grand Palace is nowadays used only for occasional ceremonial purposes and is no longer the royal residence. The present King Bhumibol (Rama IX) lives in Chitralada Palace (also closed to tourists), which is located not too far away in Bangkok's Dusit district. Though the interior of most of the buildings remain closed to the public.

Wow.. this was one of my great memory since I came to Thailand. LAst 2 semesters, I had a chance to visited the Grand Palace that situated in Bangkok. It was nice and I had gain new knowledge about Thailand. This Grand Palace quite huge(don't know the specific square).

As I heard from Thai people, the purpose of Grand Palace is the symbol of their victory in war with the Burmese(Mynmar). So, until now, they not really use it. It just became the historical place in Thailand. I heard that, they had been keep the last king, that died 100 years ago in the Grand Palace.

For just about 150 years, Bangkok's Grand Palace was not only the home of the King and his court, but also the entire administrative seat of government. Within the crenelated walls were the country's war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Thai Kings stopped living in the palace full time around the turn of the twentieth century, but the complex remains the seat of power and spiritual heart of the Thai kingdom.

Some fact about Grand Palace.

The combined compound is open 8.30am to 3.30pm everyday. Cost is 200B (if you are Thai, it's free), and includes admission to Vimanmek Mansion and Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall, both in the Dusit area of the city, the Coin Museum in the compound, and so-so free guidebook. The entrance to the compound is on Na Phra Lan road, on the north side.
Don't listen to anyone on the street as you try to enter telling you it's closed for a 'Buddhist holiday', 'cleaning' etc, or asking if you want to see the 'Lucky Buddha' instead - it's all part of a sophisticated gem scam.
As Wat Phra Kaew is Thailand's most important temple, you are expected to dress appropriately or risk being turned away. Signs put up around the entrance show you are not permitted to enter wearing shorts, sleeveless shirts, singlets or any form of open ended shoes. Sarongs and long trousers are usually available for loan should you forget.

My friend and me.. She was the one that invited me to go to her home at Chiang Mai, north of Thailand. It was nice experience for me. I will never forget that moment in my life. Her family also treat me as their own family.. I really appreciated it. Thanks friend.. MAy God Bless U all the time..

My friends and me..

Well..
come back to my blog.. Today, woke up late in morning and went to school like usually. Then, went to computer lab to check my mail. wow.. don't forget also visit RD.com, Ibanheadhunter.com, MP.com and Rp.com. This is Iban forum website. Since I came to Thailand, I didn't speak Iban much, just once a day with my friends, that also never speak too long, and the rest, I speak English and Thai too. And now, my English already mix with Thai like the way Thai people speak.

Here, I also didn't go along with other Malaysian students. I also don't know why. Even now, stil there is some Malaysian students don't know that I am Malayisn too. So sad..So poor I am.. I rather walk or hang out with Thai's friends than walk with Malaysian. And, almost all of Malaysian students stay in one group, except me. Maybe, this was make me easy to speak Thai.

This coming holiday, I don't know where I can go. Last December, I spent my holiday with my friend and went back with her to Chiang Mai. I also celebrated Christmas over there. Chiang Mai is at north of Thailand and it very famous with diversity of fruits. And, of course in December, Thailand is having a winter season especially in north of Thailand. wow.. It was so cool. The temperature until 2 celcius degree, in morning especially.

well.. what I can say.. in the moment.. I still in Thailand. waiting the time to finish this semester and my final test is coming soon, around 4 days to go. And after that, will have a holiday. And I am still here,, in Thailand, the place that I never thought to go to. The place that had taught me a lots of things, experiences, getting to know new people and so on. Well,, I wanna share some of my experiences before I came here and while I am here.

I just a simple person that lived in 'rumah panjai' since I was born. After finished SPM, I stayed at home while was waiting for the result of my SPM. So, nothing much was happen. Just stayed at home, and took care of my younger sister,3 years old.

On March, the result of SPM came out and it was qiute good. So, now, I just waiting the list of students that can continue to Form 6. On May, a group of American people came to my village to build a new church coz the old church was broken. So, some of the pastors that came from Kuching came too to take care of them and managed everything. So, that time, that pastor(cannot mention the name) interested in me. I mean, after he saw me actived talk with the American people, he suddenly asked my result of my SPM. I showed to him ,and he told me that it was good enough to continue my study to another country. The first time I heard that, I never give hope to get that offered. So, my father also really want me to go to study under the church condition. Actually, I have 2 choices that time. One, is to go to Penang to study nursing, and the second one is to study in Thailand to study degree in certain major.

Then, the time the list of students to continue study to form 6 came out, and there was my name. And, I don't know why, I had no feeling to accept it. In addition, my father also doesn't have money to pay my fees there. So, what can I do. I just prayed to God, and there was God with me. I know it. He always answered my pray. A few weeks ago, I received a letter from church office in Kuching , told me that I was accepted to study in Thailand. After finisned attended some interviews that they had required to me, I decided to go. On 21 August, 2004, I still remember, the time I was leaving from home, woke up early, and left 'rumah panjai' 6 am. That time, I was crying. I couldn't control myself. I hugged everybody that I gonna miss sooner. On the way to Kuchign that took 8 hours from Julau, I felt sad. I just afraid that I will not come back to this place anymore.

Shortly, now i am still here. More than year already. Everyday, I am missing everybody at home. Life here so different. Quite difficult for me. But, I know He blessed me and there He is, guided me to the real life.

Well, friends... the Christmas time is coming soon. Merry Christmas to everybody.
